Set during WW2. Emma, a young orphaned girl who has known nothing but a hilltop chapel her entire life.

September 1939. The Germans have invaded Poland. When war finally reaches the chapel, it doesn’t come as an army. It comes as one man — a young wounded German war photographer.

Emma, raised on christian doctrine but never tested by the world is forced to confront everything she believes about good and evil, forgiveness and what it means to stay when everyone else would run.
